Yang Chow


Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 pcs eggs, beaten
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pc small onion, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped carrot
  • 2 pcs Chinese chorizo, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked small shrimps
  • ¼ cup oyster sauce
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 4 cups day old rice
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tbsp sliced spring onion
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions:

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a wok and pour eggs. Stir and cook until barely set. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic, onion, carrot, chorizo and shrimp in oil. Add oyster sauce and pepper.
  • Stir in rice, scrambled egg, lettuce, spring onion and sesame oil. Transfer into a serving plate and serve.
